Our Polyclinic<\/strong><\/a>, in the context of caring for the health of individuals, takes all the necessary measures to offer full services for home care to people who, due to health problems or mobility difficulties, can receive the appropriate care. Our experienced nurses offer nursing services in the personal space of each patient, with absolute attention and emphasis on providing a high level of care. We have at our disposal the most modern medical and technological equipment, which greatly facilitates patient care at home. With the use of state-of-the-art equipment, combined with the knowledge of our experienced doctors and nurses, blood tests, ultrasounds, vascular triplex<\/strong><\/a>, wound and decubitus care, intravenous fluid and drug administration, enteral and parenteral feeding and other patient care actions are carried out from home.<\/p>\n

We offer high-level home care, with an emphasis on the needs and special characteristics of each patient’s condition. This greatly facilitates the care of people who have been discharged from hospital and the elderly. We are next to the people who need home care, always with an emphasis on professionalism and the full coverage of the medical needs of each patient. We undertake both cases requiring long-term nursing care and individual cases such as serum changes, surgical wound care, catheter changes and decubitus therapy.<\/p>\n

Home care department aims to provide medical and nursing care to patients who have the possibility to be treated without risk in their personal space. In this way, patients’ recovery is facilitated as they are in the familiar environment of their home, while at the same time travel to the hospital and the risk of nosocomial infections are reduced. Thus, the need for repeated admission to the hospital is prevented and the mental health and consequently the faster recovery of the patient is ensured. Home care also helps inform and educate those close to patients about their care.<\/p>\n
