Through blood, oxygen and nutrients are supplied to the whole organism, while at the same time it contributes to the elimination of substances that are no longer useful to it. Due to the fact that the circulatory system affects and is affected by pathological conditions, blood tests are the ones that should be performed more regularly than any other microbiological test.<\/p>\n<p>The main blood test includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General blood tests; provide information about the cells in a person&#8217;s blood. With them, the number of white and red blood cells, platelets, the concentration of hemoglobin and hematocrit in the blood becomes apparent.<\/li>\n<li>Vitamin B12 levels; which indicate the condition of Megaloblastic Anemia. This results from poor absorption of vitamin B12, as the stomach fluids produced are not sufficient to carry out this process. Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause numbness in the hands and feet, weakness and loss of balance.<\/li>\n<li>Ferritin levels; which relate to the storage and release of iron in the body in a controlled manner. Both high and low levels of ferritin in the blood can cause complications in the normal functioning of the body.<\/li>\n<li>Iron levels; which carries oxygen throughout the body and helps eliminate carbon dioxide.<\/li>\n<li>B9 folate levels; which control the normal function of red and white blood cells.<\/li>\n<li>Wright Coombs seroreaction, which tests for antibodies against brucellosis, a disease transmitted from animals to humans.<\/li>\n<li>Hemoglobin electrophoresis; Check the amount of hemoglobin present in the blood, but also to determine its abnormal types.<\/li>\n<li>Red blood cell sedimentation rate; Evaluates how they are active in cases of infections, inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases and blood abnormalities that indicate the existence of a condition.<\/li>\n<li>Blood flow-clotting time, for the detection of blood coagulation deficiencies and the monitoring of related diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The above tests are necessary for the quality control of the patient&#8217;s health, reducing his morbidity and mortality. Through hematological tests, important information can be obtained and situations that may not be easily reversed in the future can be prevented.
